Victoria is a passionate research engineer and scientist with decades of experience leading teams on the forefront of cutting-edge technologies. Holding an advanced degree in chemical engineering with extensive training in microbiology, she is a “Jack of all trades” who thrives on innovation driven by creativity. During the pandemic, Victoria was drawn to the world of spirits with its rich history, cultural significance, and seemingly infinite possibilities to craft new flavor profiles. She took the opportunity to share her enthusiasm by founding Severessence™ Distilling Co, leveraging her keen interest in mixology combined with technical and scientific expertise to offer a unique perspective for creating fresh offerings of uncompromising quality and unparalleled experience.
When not developing formulas to delight the palate or on the floor producing hand crafted spirits from grain to bottle, she continues to be active in the scientific community as a freelance medical writer, enjoys travel, spending time with friends and family, is a published children’s book author and blogger, nature photographer, and a supporter of the local arts community.
Favorite spirit and drink: Gin is the first spirit I really took an interest in due to its boundless formulations yet recognizable flavor. My favorite cocktail is a gin martini when out with friends or a gin and tonic while relaxing at home.
